This site belongs to Eric Lerner, a corporate magician and mentalist based in Brooklyn, New York, who runs Eric Lerner Magic. This page explains what information the site collects and what I do with it.
What you send me
When you fill out the inquiry form, I receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, and details about your event such as the date, location, guest count and budget. The form has several steps, and what you enter in the early steps can reach me even if you stop before the end.
If you book a call afterward, the booking page collects your name, email address and how you would like me to reach you.
How I use it
Only to work with you on your event:
- to reply, set up a call and put together a quote
- to plan and perform your event if you book
- to keep a record of our conversation, so you never have to repeat yourself
I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
The inquiry form runs on Mastermind Form, which stores your submission and sends it to me by email. I keep inquiries and client records in Dubsado, the software I use to run my business. Calls are scheduled through TidyCal. Each of these services holds the information on my behalf.
Analytics and cookies
To understand how people find and use the site, I use:
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which uses cookies to measure visits
- Google Ads conversion tracking, which uses cookies to tell me when someone who clicked one of my ads sends an inquiry
- Rybbit, an analytics tool that does not use cookies
Videos on the site play through Vimeo, which may set its own cookies when a video loads. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles standard technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and block attacks.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on and manage the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center.
Keeping or deleting your information
I keep inquiries and client records as part of my business records. If you would like to see what I have about you, or have me delete it, email eric@ericlernermagic.com and I will take care of it.
Children
This site is for event planners and businesses, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
